Was in at the Little Bourke RG Madden earlier this week, which was not only lovely retail therapy, but brought my attention to the fact that I’ve been missing out on the new Design House Stockholm 2010 range. If you know me at all you’ll probably know that I share a deep, passionate love with all things design and all things Scandinavia. So fittingly, this post is dedicated both.

Above is one of the pieces from Anna Bonnevier’s Numb Collection, which was her prize-winning graduation project from Konstfack, the University College of Art, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. The line includes stunning tunics, dresses, trousers, and capes - All garments are made from viscose and elastane.

The Pleece Collection by Marianne Abelsson is another beautiful fashion line by Design House Stockholm, featuring hats, scarves, ponchos, hoods and throws. All garments are made from polyester and viscose, feature a distinctive accordion pleat, and feel absolutely amazing!



I included this image of the Pleato Scarf, also by Marianne Abelsson because it reminded me of Alpha60, a favourite Melbourne-based designer of mine.
